Rafa Benitez has admitted he cannot believe Liverpool lost 4-1 at Anfield to Chelsea and admitted his side simply did not deserve to lose by that margin.
He said: "It's incredible that we lost that game 4-1. We controlled the first 25 minutes and played some good football. I was very happy with that period of the game.
"Then we made a mistake with the penalty but got back into the game. The idea then was to work hard and look for another goal, but they scored again.
"In the second half we wanted to play high and press the game. But in the end mistakes have cost us. Look at the third goal. The fourth goal came from a throw-in. It's unbelievable.
"We have lost this game because we made mistakes. That's how Chelsea play. They play deep looking to counter attack and then punish any mistakes. That's what happened today.
"As far as I'm concerned it's one game lost and anyone with intelligence will see it like that. It doesn't matter what the score was. It's just one game and now we have to look forward. This game has gone and we need to think about the next game."
